Purchased from a U.S. military surplus shop in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, before the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the shop owner, this jacket was old stock, as the U.S. Navy had already updated to a new type. He mentioned that it was rare to receive unused items like this.

The type with waist adjustment is a later model.

As it is a new, unused item, there is no writing on the back tag by ballpoint pen or marker from the original service member.

Because it is an American size, "Medium/Regular" is equivalent to a Japanese size "L" or "LL".

Currently stored in a closet with insect repellent measures.
