Inspired by the mud and water of the trails, this project expresses the transformation of untouched materials into tangible forms in two colorways.
The MAFATE X, perfect for long-distance running with its high-energy foam and carbon plate propulsion, is reinterpreted through the lens of _J.L_A.L_. Reflective materials, a subdued monochrome, and color-changing reflective overlays are incorporated.
This is a trail running shoe that can run through rough terrain without hesitation, while also being comfortable to run in on the streets.
