Moacir Santos, a Brazilian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator who studied under greats like Baden Powell and Bola Sete, recorded the album "Coisas" in 1965. A legend also known for his work with Nara Leão and Sérgio Mendes! This album is a great achievement in contemporary Brazilian music, with its masterful fusion of jazz arrangements by a large ensemble, compelling songwriting, and Afro-Brazilian rhythms.
Although not highly regarded upon its release, it is now considered one of the masterpieces of contemporary Brazilian music. In recent years, the fact that the great Letieres Leite released a cover album has also become a hot topic. Among them, "Coisas Nº 5," also known as "Nanã," is a particularly popular song.
